Hello In such young children one of the causes of hair loss is alopecia aereta. It is an autoimmune disorder that causes patches of hair to fall out. There's no cure for alopecia areata although there are treatments that may help stimulate new hair growth. These are most effective in mild cases of the disorder. Hence get it evaluated from a dermatologist or trichologist to confirm the diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
