mustache problems.

hello I used a wet and dry shaver on my mustache and now have a patch which hasn't filling in over quite some time. It hasn't been a year but at least 4 months... I see fine hairs but it won't grow in accordance with the rest of my mustache. Will it be like this forever?

Hello It looks like alopecia areata. Alopecia areata is a disease that causes hair to fall out in small patches. The main symptom of alopecia areata is loss of hair in small round patches (roughly the size of a quarter) on the scalp. Other than that fungal infection due to tinea capitis also needs evaluation. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
