i havent found a forum for trichh anyone have any advice on how to STOP ? i seem to do it most when on own.. i usely end up with a patch of hair missing on the back of head it grows back after couple of months of growing but then i end up pulling it out again.. same with eyelashes. eyebrows theyre the only places i pull scared i have so much wrong with me :( this just had to top it all off when i turned 14. haha x

Voluntary pulling of hair from the head is called trichotillomania. It is hair loss from repeated urges to pull or twist the hair until it breaks off. The hair may come out in round patches or across the scalp. However it does not cause receding hair line from front. A piece of tissue may be removed (biopsy) to rule out other causes such as a scalp infection and to explain the hair loss.
