It is always very important to be open and honest with your OB. It is especially important to get careful and early prenatal care when you are on multiple medications. I strongly suggest that you talk to your doctor about which ones you have to stay on and which you can be slowly tapered from. None should be abruptly stopped or stopped without medical supervision. OBs and midwives have heard it all and are able to help you taper your opiates. There are a few ways you can do that. You can either gently taper and quit altogether so that both you and baby are off of all opiate by the time of delivery or switch to low dose Subutex which is safe in pregnancy and nursing. Being completely clean is obviously healthier in the long run but is more difficult both physically and emotionally. However we do plenty of difficult thing as mother and this will not be the first or the last for you will it? Again it is very important to get your OB involved I cannot stress it enough. Good luck to you
