No its not your fault. Many people get addicted to opiates from an injury. I did and now im going through withdrawal from opiates myself. It's a disease and its fatal. Withdrawal is terrible but we can take opiates forever. There killing us.its ok to ask for help. Many people are going through the same thing as you and I
