Hey I'm 23 and I don't remember exactly when these bumps appeared on the head of my penis. But there seems to be more of them on the right side of my penis. I read that they could be forcyde spots or maybe something fungal? When i have an erection they seem to be less noticeable. I do have unprotected sex with my girlfriend but these bumps don't get worse ever. No pain. Sometimes they seem more irritated than the day before and get a little red but than go back to normal. No pain during urination or ejaculation.
I went to the doctor and he said they were normal.
Before you guys tell me not to worry about it and it's normal. Are there any creams I can use or natural oils or oral supplements i can take to reduce the bumps? I'm willing to go to the doctor again to ask for some creams or oral pills to buy from the pharmacy

Hello Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern and have checked the photographs. There is absolutely nothing to worry as it looks like sebaceous prominence of the penis head. Another name for it is of course Fordyce spots which are small hard white growths. Basically it is due to sebaceous glands which are responsible for producing sebum which is an oily substance that keeps the skin of the penis well moisturized and healthy. The sebum that is produced in the glands normally pass through hair follicles onto the skin. But in some men the glands may produce more sebum than usual resulting in blocked pores and the growth of the white spots. Please do remember that they are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body. They should be got removed only for cosmetic reasons as they are normally found on the penis. The treatment options then include carbon dioxide laser and pulsed dye laser. Treatment with pulsed dye lasers is expensive but may be less likely to scar than other methods. These treatment options have their own side effects and they should be opted for only if you find them cosmetically unpleasant.
