Cloudy vision following a Crystals & yag laser

I didn't want the cheap medicare lenses because I wanted to be able to see near and far with both eyes. I was so specific saying if there was a choice I want to see clearly close up. Then he did a Yag Laser. Now I can't see my laptop computer clearly or read a magazine or the paper. After the Yag my eye is cloudy. The joke is on me I spent Thousands of dollars on the surgeon/lenses and I could have paid nothing and see better. Any suggestion to clear up the vision in the eye with the Yag and what to do about not seeing well close and intermediate

Not sure when you had the YAG done but you will have hazy vision for a few days. In my case it was about a week before it cleared completely. I assume you had a cataract removed before you had the lens implanted. The bag the natural lens was in gets left behind but clouds up. The YAG laser punches holes in the bag to clear the cloudiness. I'm surprised they didn't explain all this to you before gaining consent. Sometimes it can cause inflammation and the cells get in the vitreous and cloud your vision. Ask your eye surgeon to look int this possibility.
