Has anyone else had this? If im in a pitch black room and move my eyes rapidly to the left or right i can see a tiny spec of light in my left eye peripheral vision. What could this be?

Specks of light are often caused by the detached particles of the retina in the eye. This is quite normal for your eye condition. But if happens that the spots become larger it could be a sign that the retina tore a considerable amount and need to be evaluated by an eye doctor immediately. Furthermore it is also possible that the light flashes are caused by low blood pressure.
