for the past years i've been waking up with blobs of stringy eye boogers and during the day it accumulates again and again I started to use eye drops but it works only slightly at first Ithought I could be because of my astigmatism but I doubt it and then I thought it might be because of dirty pillow and/or bed but I buy new pillows and the same keeps happening I don't know what's wrong and it has become an annoyance

It is possible that you have dry eyes or allergies. The treatments for this eye condition include Saline Eye Drops and Antihistamine. Or you may also apply a cold compress in closed eyes. Always remind yourself to never rub your eyes because it will worsen the condition.
