Bleching nausea post-nasal drip

Hi I'm a 25 year old male currently suffering with month long post-nasal drip aswell as indigestion (usually belching after eating and intermittent nausea which is sometimes worse at night). At first i had a dry cough for about one week that slowly began to produce yellow phlegm in my throat after eating. Eventually my nose became congested and I noticed a lot of Post-nasal drip at nightime and throughout the day--especially after eating (at one point I was constantly spitting yellow mucus from my throat). I was put on a ten day dose of amoxicillin which was ineffective so my doctor decided to put me on APO-FLUTICASONE which cleared my nose but didn't help the mucus buildup in my throat. I decided to try spicy food and garlic to combat the phlegm but it did not help and gave me burning indigestion. I continued using the nasal corticosteroid for the rest of the week which seemed to reduce the phlegm but I noticed that i would get indigestion after eating followed by excessive belching and nausea at night. Now I have reduced the nasal spray but the indigestion has continued for about 2.5 weeks and i seem to get nauseated at night--usually temporarily relieved by burping. I was prescribed Proton Pump Inhibitor which I have been taking for 5 days now and am on a very basic diet for 1.5 weeks but the belching and nighttime mild nausea has not subsided. I was tested for H. Pylori via blood test but results came back negative. I was wondering if there is any connection between the post-nasal drip the nasal corticosteroid the amoxicillin and my digestion problem?

Hi No there is no connection between post-nasal drip nasal c orticosteroid amoxicillin and digestive problem. You are having symptoms of GERD.It can be confirmed with 24 hours pH monitoring test.Continue taking PPI.
