Does anyone have any insite on severe GERD or esophagitis. I have had heartburn and acid reflux for close to a year now. This past month has been the worst ime of my life. I am an active and healthy 31 year old female. I went into the dr on Thursday to report severe throat burning and tension. I was prescribed dexilant 60 mg twice a day. I was also told to take 2 tabs of GavisconES every meal and 4 at bedtime. NOTHING is releaving any pain and swelling. I am due for some sort of scope who knows when. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do now?

Sorry to hear I also suffer and understand your pain.. try taking GES-5 google it. It coats the throat and esophagus and helps to heal.
