First off hello and thank you for reading this I think I have a concussion because today I was playing a game of soccer with some friends and one of them accidentally kicked the ball in my face. What happened was it hit me in the head and my head tilted backwards 3-4 iches and it hurt a little in my head but mostly on my face i saw my glasses fly away to I went to get them and my face was in pain for about 2 minutes. no nose bleeds or anything maybe a slightly painful jaw but that went away fast every thing was ok we got right back to playing the game I felt no pain at all and nothing was different. After we went for some ice cream and everything was ok I brought my friend back home then returned home myself. I then went on the computer to play some games at around 1 am I felt a mild pain in back of my head but the pain was SO mild it was more of a VERY light pressure actually I'm going to call it discomfort it also started feeling a bit cold on that area. Then what I did was google symptom and things of the sort I have no headache except for that I have perfectly normal balance I see normally I don't really feel any different I'm not really tired maybe a bit but I've been playing sports and it's two am. I then took my flashlight and flashed it towards my eyes to see if my pupils were acting as they should all was normal there too. I only started feeling something after 4 hours and it's now been 5 hours and it isn't any worse. Am I safe to go to bed? if I need to seek medical attention could it wait till tomorrow? does it sound like a concussion? Thank you

Hi! It is very difficult to say whether you have suffered any internal injury or not. Sometimes symptoms develop late. Therefore it is important to get a doctor to examine you if you have suffered a head injury. However having said that as of now you do not seem to be having any alarming symptoms. If you develop nausea vomiting excess sleep severe headache difficulty in walking and balance tremors seizures vision problems ringing in ears etc then consult a doctor immediately. These symptoms develop if there is a brain injury or bleed. Otherwise this pain and pressure will go in a few days. You can also take a mild pain killer for this. If you live alone ask someone to sleep over. I sincerely hope you will find this information useful in your journey towards better health. Hope you feel better soon! Good Luck and take care!
