I am 47 had my uterus removed when I was about 36 due to fibroids. Now for last 2-3 months been have terrible lower ab pain..had u/s ab x-ray all normal. Still have tubes and ovaries. Could this pain be cysts. In so much pain really getting scared my mom died.of uterinr/ovarian cancer help

This pain could be ovarianst related but if you had a recent pelvic ultrasound that found nothing abnormal then this is good news. Your ovaries will still be ovulating monthly and some women feel that this is more prominent or bothersome after a hysterectomy. Some lower pelvic pain may also could be related to your bowels or bladder or deep pelvic muscles. It is concerning that your mother died of uterine/ovarian cancer but since you had your uterus removed then this won't affect you. Since you do still have your ovaries I would recommend simply following up with your physician to be sure that you continue to be well.
