HIV vomit

I have a strange question and I can't find any similar answers in the forum. I've always been really paranoid about HIV and I need to know if I'm at any risk. I was at a bar the other night and someone a few feet away from me threw up. I stepped out of the way obviously but some splashed on my foot. It looked like he threw up completely clear but I'm not sure if there was any blood mixed in. I was wearing sandals unfortunately and I had a chaffed pimple that formed where the sandal strap covered the top of my foot. When I got home and found it later it hurt a little but didn't seem to be actively bleeding (although it could have been earlier). Let's say that his vomit had some blood in it and got on the chaffed pimple that could have been open at the time. Would there be any risk here of getting HIV or something else really bad? I am in a monogamous relationship of several years and we don't use condoms so I don't want to put her at any risk.

This is a no-risk situation. The odds a random person in a bar has HIV obviously are low; and stomach acid certainly would kill HIV. Even if vomitus from an HIV infected person got directly into the bloodstream I would not expect virus transmission to occur. You do not need testing and do not need to worry at all about your partner. I hope this has helped. Best wishes
