HI Doc On approximately May 6th I saw a professional "female wrestler". She ended up giving me an unprotected blow job which I knew would be a bad idea but once she began I couldn't find the will power to say "NO". Now approximately 5 weeks later I have a 101 degree fever body aches chills a head ache when I cough and feel lethargic. I know for a fact that this female "wrestler" gives all of her male clients blow jobs and that I definitely am not the first or only. Shes has numerous amateur porn clips that she does her self where you can see her giving other men the same unprotected fellatio. I know you're probably going to say that the risk is pretty much non existant I just want to know what you think about my current symptoms. I've had them since yesterday and don't feel well. I just want to put this episode past me and move on with my life. I'm turning 24 next weekend and want an end to this anxiety. Thank you so much in advance doctor!

Welcome to our Forum. You are correct on several things. First you are correct that there is no known risk for HIV from receipt of oral sex. There are NO proven cases in which someone has gotten HIV fro receipt of oral sex. You are not going to be the first person to get HIV by this route. Second the symptoms that you describe are those of a severe flu-like illness and are among the symptoms the are typical of the ARS. However flu-like illnesses are common and the ARS is not. When it has been studied however less than 1% of persons with "ARS symptoms" turn out to have HIV. The remainder have the sorts of non-STI illnesses that most people get from time to time. I urge you not to worry about HIV. If you wish to prove you are not infected I suggest you get an HIV test. If this were the ARS Standard HIV antibody tests would be positve 3-4 days after your symptoms began. I hope my comments are helpful
