Duo Test Negative

Hi Sir I cant tell you how scared i am and how much my life has changed. I know for a fact something is wrong with me. My story short i had unprotected sex with a csw. I did tests at 23 29 and 62 days (all duo last one advertised as ELISA DUO test). In between i had another encounter with a csw which was giving oral (anninglus too) on day 30. I have had every single symptom possible except a fever im worried i could get it now. I have even white and brown pigments on my palms now. For the past week i have had very bad joint and muscle aches fatigue and also realized for the past month i have had clay colored stool. During the tests i was on heavy medication mostly antibiotics zanax nixium and pain killers including volatrin. I was also diagnosed with prostatis if that matters. 1.Should i be worried? Could it be false negatives? Could it turn positive later on? 2. What is the risk i have HIV? 3. I have done some googling and my symptoms match that of HEP C. Could it be that or are these symptoms common because i never had them in my life? Please do give me your thoughts on this. Many thanks in advance. Please give me your thought because i want to move on im my life?

Welcome to the forum. Contrary to what you think you have learned probably by searching for HIV symptoms on line your symptoms are not suggestive of a new HIV infection. Also your risk was low based on the exposure described -- and zero for hepatitis C which is rarely if ever transmitted by heterosexual sex. Most important the test results PROVE you did not catch HIV. Your symptoms "match" HIV (and hepatitis C as well as at least 100 other conditions I could mention) because they are very nonspecific. That means the same symptoms occur in many conditions. So despite "typical" symptoms you cannot have HIV or hepatiits C if you aren't at risk -- and you were not. And the blood tests for HIV are among the most accurate of all diagnostic tests for any medical condition. There is no such thing as a false negative duo test more than 4 weeks after exposure so your last two results were definitive. There are no medications or medical conditions that make them any less reliable. If your symptoms persist or you otherwise remain concerned see a doctor to address the problem professionally. But you can disregard HIV hepatitis C or any other infection from the sexual encounter. Finally I would suggest you stop searching online about it. Like many anxious persons it seems you're being drawn to information that inflames your fears and missing all the reassuring bits.
