Amsterdam Hell.

Following is a description of my encounter with a window CSW in Amsterdam (call her M). I am seeking assessment on the risks of HIV/ other STI contraction. During the course of the event I was under the influence of Marijuana. -M peeled open a condom pack and placed the prophylactic on my limp penis. She then proceeded to suck the penis to erection (momentarily creating an inflated condom effect) and while doing so unfurled the condom over the penile shaft. Once erect she continued to perform oral. This lasted for about 20 seconds. -Heres where things become a bit hazy. M then peeled off the condom and then disposed of it in a bin. I believe she wiped my penis with a kitchen towel. She washed her hands and said thank you. I dont believe there was any exposed genital to genital contact. I dont believe that I came in contact with any bodily fluids but I just can be 100% sure. I asked her then if she was clean and she said dont be crazy and that I should not worry as we had used a condom. -Obvious big questions...Integrity of condom? and accidental fluid exposure. -I am un circumcised and am less than very well endowed. Would slippage change things? I visited a GP after who said the risk profile for HIV was very low. I went to a special STI clinic and they said the risk profile was very low. I have a STI scan in 4 days (12 days from event) a DUO test on the 29th day from event and an antibody test 6 weeks from the event. Im scared....very scared....and very ashamed. Dont know what to expect. HELP!

Welcome to the Forum. I'll do my best to help. I think that providing some background information may help. Commercial sex workers working in Amsterdam's red light district are licensed and by law are checked regularly for STIs including HIV. Thus the risk that your partner had any STI (including HIV) is very low- lower than if you had picked up a casual partner in a bar. Further your sex was condom protected by a professional who has a personal interest in remaining uninfected. If I were you I would not be the least bit worried about any STI including HIV. I am confident that when you test your tests will be negative.
