I sorry to see that you are having trouble moving forward despite your negative tests and your prior assurance both from Dr. Handsfield and on our community site that your results are definitive. Your blood tests obtained from the doctor’s office were definitive and conclusive 8 weeks after your exposure (i.e. at 9 and 11 weeks). OraQuick tests are definitive when taken any time more than three months. I urge you to understand the you were not infected by HIV and that there is absolutely no reason to continue testing. My sincere advice based on concern for you is that you should spend the time and energy that you are spending on testing to work with a counselor or mental health professional to determine why you are having so much trouble moving forward. I say this out of concern nothing more.
