Do I take this medication now while I am in pain and trying to pass the kidney stone..... Or do I wait to take it just to get it out of my bladder? I lost my presc

I started taking it last year when I had 3 kidney stones that hadn't passed into my bladder yet. Those stones eventually had to be removed by surgery and I still am taking it. In fact I take one capsule every morning and about a month ago I passed a small stone with no problems on my own. I can't say that Flomax helped or didn't help me with passing this most recent stone but I do know that prior to taking it I wound up in the ER with every stone I ever had over the past 30 or so years. You'll have to judge for yourself and come to your own conclusion. I sure don't want to be without taking it for the rest of my life though. Take it now while still trying to pass the stone and in the future after you pass this stone too.
