I have exactly the same symptoms as Lesley. I am a 47 year old female with 6 Crowns on my upper front teeth which have caused me no problems whatsoever since they were implanted last December. Since then I have had 2 bottom teeth filled and now suffer chronic gum pain for up to 4 hours after eating red meat. Chicken is not so bad and fish causes no reaction whatsoever. What can this be? It is driving me mad. Lesley have you had any diagnosis since your last post?

I have the same problem that started 2 years ago....its getting worse to the point I have to take tramadol it goes away the next day but I can only eat soft foods to avoid the pain...I'm diabetic and have been for several years....at first I thought it might be the meds I was taken but after investigation of the meds none of them have this side effect...I do have a dental appointment I just hope I don't go thru anything drastic to find tge cause
