I guess I kept my fiancé up all night by crying in my sleep and tossing and turning. And he is all upset at me because of it. But I can't help it. I was raped by three guys when I was young thirteen or so. And it's never owned my life but I do have nightmares if something makes me think about it before bed. And we watched Carrie last night. I just don't know how to get him to understand. :/

Are you really crying in your sleep or are you waking from nightmares and crying? It sounds like he needs another place to sleep when you have that kind of night. I think it's legitimate to be upset if he was unable to sleep all night - just the same as he would be if you snore all night or have restless legs or insomnia so you stay up with the light on and read. If you're actually doing this in your sleep figure out a way to separate on those nights. Best wishes.
