Many years back I had a very bad fall from a platform ( approx. 18ft. ) . Falling backward I landed on my right side and back . When I fell I broke the r. foot socket hurt my r. knee compressed L2L3 vertebrata cracked my pelvic bone. I be leave I was unconscious for a short time because when I woke up there were many people all around . THE main question is from a fall like that could it DAMAGE my heart or valves ?? I have had many thing happen after that fall . Things happen on and off but not all the time . 1. I have been very forgetful 2. I have had CROSS vision with one on top of the other . 3. I get dizzy spells . 4. bad head aches or migraines . 5. sometimes I feel I am walking at a tilt . many other things ... 6. I found out after several years that my heart was stopping or very very slow beats ( o to 15 beets per min. ) and do not know how many years that had been going on . AFTER complaining many years then passing out in the doctors office 3 times ( not in same visit ) . The Doc did some tests over some more years (a.) 4 times EKG = nothing (b.) put a halter monitor twice for 2 weeks = nothing . Finley the Doc put in a LOOP-recorder and on my first checkup ( 3 weeks ) later I was TOLD I could not leave and had to stay there . Sorry before the heart test I had to have a heart valve replaced ( mytrill valve ) ? Finley the Doc put in a pacemaker which I think helped me from passing out NOW . BUT I think the lack of oxygen to my brain has caused other problems as to why I can NOT remember things get frustrated dizzy spells ... etc. ??

Hello From what you describe have you ever thought that is is possible that your original fall from the platform may have been caused by heart Arrhythmia and /or Heart Valve issues? In some senses you or anyone else is lucky to survive such a fall! You do not mention your current age or what if any medications you take currently. The fact that you have a Pacemaker suggests that perhaps there were some longstanding issues. Try to take the time since implant as a rare chance for a fresh start in your life that not many folk get. Build on your strengths and try to learn the art of relaxation. All the best to you.
