Hi there it depends on the cause for poor R wave progression. Poor R waveprogression refers to the absence of the normal increase in size of the R wave in the precordial leads as you progress from lead V1 to V6. This can occur due to anterior myocardial infarction left bundle branch block or left ventricular hypertrophy in which case it may appear on successive ECGs. If it is due to causes like tension pneumothorax the finding may disappear once the condition is resolved. Regards.
