Ive had increased varicose especially in left leg since a fusion surged L4-L5 4 yrs ago. Two weeks ago my blood pressure shot thru the roof a day after donating blood. Felt faint nearly passed out. BP is staying down. When this happens my leg gets cold from knee down to foot. I notice more pulsing and fluttering on the front beside the the shin bone or front of calf muscle. The fluttering goes up and down my whole leg now. I remain lightheaded leg has escalated to muscle spasms and now feels like I was in a kick boxing match. Discoloration below the knee the veins are bulging huge. Im active and healthy. I felt great until I donated blood. I have been out of work almost 2 wks. Had my ears looked at. Audiologist said theres an infection in inner ear. I started having very loud ringing so they put me on prednisone and antibiotics. Still at a loss..Felt better a few days but back to same ole symptoms..thanks.

You post is rather complex and my be mixing different and unrelated symptoms. Have you discussed with a doctor who can examine you? I can't tell if you are a regular blood at donating blood if so you know if there is a connection. In my case I'd be reluctant to donate if I felt there was such a connection for me. Please do donate blood if you can it is a wonderful gift but...
