Symtoms?

Hi I have yet to see my doctor but thought I could get some answers here. I have been a heavy drinker for along time and now noticing symtoms (symptoms) from it. I have swelling in my abdominal area and pain in lower right rib cage. I also had some itching around my ankles but only lasted about a week. I have since stopped drinking but that has only been a few days. My question is will these symtoms (symptoms) subside on there own without the use of alcohol?
