Autoimmune disorders

I have dystonia. But this year I have been diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency in March. Bone scan showed rheumatoid arthritis bilateral shoulders and few other places. Recently G.I. Gave me the wonderful diagnosis of P.B.C. Moor which I go Monday November 3 2014 for the liver biopsy for staging. Are there any more immune surprises possible?

Sorry to hear that your immune system's not being so nice. I've got a sister disease to PBC you could call it just kinda the male equivalent PSC. I have had several rounds of liver biopsies and I'm end-stage. Let's hope you're not as far along. Btw the biopsies aren't as bad as you first imagine just a little sore afterwards. Unfortunately other surprises are possible since autoimmune diseases can tend to run in packs. At least the biopsy will be able to rule out the AIH possibility which can overlap with PBC but this tends to be unlikely. I assume they've already done some antibody screens as well - AMA ANA? Good luck with your upcoming procedure and hoping for the best!
