Hi How are you? The vast majority of hemangiomas of the liver never cause symptoms or health problems and most are discovered incidentally at the time of testing for unrelated medical problems. Very large hemangiomas can cause symptoms such as pain nausea or enlargement of the liver. Rarely larger hemangiomas can rupture causing severe pain and bleeding into the abdomen. There is usually no contraindication to other medications and it is best that you talk to your doctor about this also for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
