I was on the iud for 3 years till oct 28 and the doctor told me I wouldnt be abe to conceive till I have my period which could come between 1 and 3 months. Ive been having unprotected sex since then. I had one morning in the middle of november where I just gushed out blood just that once only in the morning nothing for the rest of the day or after that. Now for the past 2 weeks (i still had unprotected sex since I figured it was a period) ive been really nausous and I have very sore nipples im very tired amd sorta emotional. Is that enough reason to take a pregnany test?? Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi! If you were my patient i would definitely advise you to do a pregnancy test. It is possible to conceive without having your period first and you certainly have the appropriate symptoms. If it is positive call your doctor to schedule an appointment soon. Good luck!
