Okayy so I have had my first Depo shot a few months ago but I never went back for my next shot. My next shot was due about 2months going on 3months ago. My last period was on Oct. 13 2013 and I haven't came on since. The condom had popped and I didn't take the Morning After Pill. Along with all of the above my stomach has been hurting I've gaines so much weight eating like crazy sleeping alot moody missed period things of that nature. So with that being said could I possibly be pregnant even after just getting off the Depo shot for a couple of months??? Please help and when should I take a pregnancy test???!

Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that if you are overdue for your depo shot you could be pregnant. You could take the test now. If it is negative you could repeat weekly until you can get in to see your provider for another birth control method or until you have a period. Be certain to use condoms in the meantime. Good luck!
