Hi! If you were my patient I would ask you if you are taking the pills properly without missing any. If you miss even one break through bleeding can begin. Even if you haven't missed any this can happen. You should call your provider--sometimes I will have my patients double up their pills for a few days to stop the bleeding--another option is to stop the pills until the bleeding stops--if you do this you will need to use condoms or another form of birth control until you can restart your pills.
