I had brown discharge after some days it became to be bright red(I was waiting for my period so I thought it was) and then it came back to be brown. Now after 2 weeks it's not on my underwear any more but it appears on the paper towels. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative....I Don't understand. I don't want to be pregnant :-(

Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that if the pregnancy test is negative you are not pregnant. I would suspect that you didn't ovulate this cycle and that is the reason for the abnormal discharge. I would consider giving you progesterone to clean the uterine lining if you do not have your period soon. I would repeat the pregnancy test though--now and in a week if you still have not had a normal period. Good luck!
