Does anyone else get shaky on their period? it happens more when I am hot this started the same time my period started. I checked my blood sugar and it is fine

Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that this is not a common complaint. Checking your blood sugar was an excellent idea. Hormones can cause blood sugar to fluctuate and often during their periods women are not eating the best foods--they often crave sugar etc. Hot flushes can occur during the period but are not typically associated with shaking.
