My wedding is next month and unfortunately I am supposed to get my period that same day. I've heard that by taking the 21 active birth control pill and then starting a whole new package would make your period stop. I wanna make sure this is okay and that there would be no bad consequences if I do it. Please advice

Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that women do this ALL the TIME! When you end your pack go straight to the next pack--skipping the placebos and that should stall your period. It usually works pretty well and there are no harmful effects. You can then continue the next pack and should have a period when you reach the placebos of the second pack. There could be some break through bleeding which is nothing to be alarmed about if it does happen. Good luck! Congratulations!
