Hi So I am on birth control and have been for 4 years. I recently (since August) have started trying taking it and not taking the sugar pills which would allow me not to have my period. 2 weeks ago would have been my sugar pill week but I skipped it again. Last Tuesday I started to bleed like I would on my period. It was not heavy at all nor is my period. I have not bled for 3 days I just notice some tint of blood in my discharge. It is not a bright red color it was last week but now it is a more brown color. I took a pregnancy test and it is negative. I was just wondering if this is happening if I am skipping my period or what. I was wondering possible causes for this happening.
