Ok . i been off depo since december 2012 my next appointment was feb 2013 i missed it but after that i been spotting on and off than finally i had a period June 19 2013 but it will be on one day off the next on one day n off the next than it finally came off June 23 2013 . IS THIS NORMAL and yes i have unprotected sex with my boyfriend.

Hi! If you were my patient I would first advise you to do a pregnancy test. If that is negative I would probably just take a wait and see approach since depo can take up to 18 months to completely "wear off". If you don't want to be pregnant you should consider another birth control method--you can't count on the depo any more. If you DO want a baby--you will know you are ovulating again when you have regular periods. You CAN get pregnant before you ever have regular periods. Good luck!
