Wife 70 yrs good health. Developed clogged/closed feeling within her ears. Family Dr adv that ears were clear but prescribed medro dose pack no response. Prescribed 20 mg of prednisone 3x day partially cleared up but shortly after prednisone stopped returned to prior status. Ref to ENT exam and hearing test adv tubes need placed into ears and sinus needed holes poked in to assist with drainage. Dr advised next day she should notice some improvement within days marked improvement. Had surgery back for follow-up no change. Past 7 weeks numerous app with ENT no improvement significant continued hearing loss. During 7 weeks tried 10 mg of prednisone and Dymista Nasal Spray with neg help. Last appointment said there was nothing that can he can do made appointment with another specialist in just ears 2 month wait time. We are very concerned of course with what happened and a 2-month wait. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
