I posted a question earlier about chronic ear infections. The reason why I had to get tubes in my ears wasn't to help them drain. The reason is I use a c-pap at night at a high pressure. It blows my eustachian tubes and kept pressure on my eardrum. Needless to say that became painful so hence the tubes. So all night long I have moisturized warm air blowing through my ears. Could I be picking up the chronic infections that way. I do tend to get sinus infections easily.

Firstly can the c-pap machine be adjusted to not cover your ears? To only blow air through your mouth and nose to assist with night-time breathing? Secondly as advised in prior answer it is very important for your ENT to monitor the PE tubes and ensure they are still open (patent). If the tubes get clogged with skin debris or ear wax then the tubes cannot function and an infection can occur again. Hope this information helps you.
