I have had pain in my groin for at least 6 months. It hasn't gone away Now my pubic bone is so tender to the touch & it hurts really bad. I don't know if I should go to ER for this or not. My groin feels like there's a bump but can't be for certain. Should I go to ER?

Hi! If you were my patient I would ask you to come to see me in my office. Having an actual appointment will save you lots of time and money! There are lots of possibilities including infection of the bone. The ER is not really a good place to work up a chronic problem. They will probably give you Ibuprofen and send you home. I DO think you should be evaluated though--you may swollen glands which are caused by an infection somewhere! Good luck!
