Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that it sounds like your endocrinologist believes that you have PCOS. Some doctors like to use Metformin to treat PCOS--sometimes it can regulate cycles and even reduce weight. Other medications used to help with facial hair include oral contraceptive and Spironolactone. Vaniqa is a topical product which can be of some benefit. Diet and exercise will be helpful too! Be certain that you don't have a cyst or tumor on your ovary that is producing androgens. Good luck!
