When I urinate the color is completely normal then when i go to wipe I have quite a large amount of brown discharge. I have been having some cramps in my lower abdomen a tiny headache and sometimes I get incredibly nauseous and sometimes even throw up. I am not pregnant I just dont understand what is going on. I have never had this much discharge and I should be starting my period soon. Is that a cause?

Hi! If you were my patient I would ask you to come in for a complete exam and pap (if you are due) I would have lots of questions about what your periods have been doing recently and of course would suggest a pregnancy test. I might consider an ultrasound to determine whether there is a build up of tissue inside your uterus and if so I might recommend some progesterone to clean that build up out. Hope this helps!
