I'm 28 weeks pregnant and have negative blood which means I need A rhogum shot but I don't have Medicaid yet and just applied so I still need to wait 20 days to see if I'm approved is it bad for the baby if If I take the shot later than 28 weeks??

Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that it will be OK to wait for the shot. Do you already have a doctor's appointment? Often doctors will see you and do the necessary care and then bill Medicaid retro-actively. Do you have a different plan if you are not approved? It could be bad for the baby or worse for the next baby if you don't get the shot at all. Good luck!
