Hi! If you were my patient I would advise you that it is NOT true. The morning after pill works by delaying ovulation so that is doesn't occur at the same time as intercourse. After an abortion you won't ovulate for a short time and during that time the morning after pill won;t work but you have probably been instructed to be abstinent during that time any way. If you are looking for long term contraception you probably won't want to rely upon emergency contraception too often Good luck~
