My wife is trying to come off of Risperdal on account we would like to try to conceive . how long until the medicine is out of her system / when the side effects of coming off the drug will subside. She has been not taking for 6 days with side effects such as: Extreme nausea Sweats Continuous headache Irritability etc

she did taper down but she cut some time off of the taper after she found the side effects to hinder everyday life so she took more of the bandaid approach went cold turkey after tapering down to 1/2 of a 3mg pill every other day. Her nausea has subsided and the headache as well for the most part but still has the 'restless body' symptom . She will be contacting her psychiatrist today . seems like she is making some headway with what she has told me the last few days. Thank you very much for reaching out to us and we will give updates throughout the weeks to come so others with similar adversities will have something to model after. Still need somewhat of a timeline for how long the duration of the withdraw side effects will be though! Thanks again!
