My fingers are dry due to working in a laundry at a hospital. From my knuckles to my fingertips I have scaly dry skin. It burns when I put on latex-free gloves also.

You need to get a lotion for extremely dry skin and moisturize your hands several times a day. If it doesn't clear up you can see a doctor for medication. Use dove soap also.
