A few months ago I cut my thumb open beside the nail on the edge of a dry erase board at work. I bandaged it and I thought it wod heal but instead a bump that looks and feel like a callous or a corn has grown and the cut is still there. At first it didn't hurt so I didn't pay much attention to it except to think it was ugly but now it is becoming tender and sore so I'm wondering what's wrong and if I should get I checked out. Help please?

If the edges are raw and lumpy it could be a granuloma which is an overgrowth of flesh that keeps new skin from growing across a wound. It's hard to say over the internet without being able to see it. You should have a doctor take a look at it.
